FAQ
How is Seqori different from a typical scheduling app?
+

Most scheduling tools are built around a simple idea: show people when they are working and let managers fill in the gaps. That works well for retail, restaurants, and outpatient clinics where shifts are relatively predictable and stakes are low.

24/7 emergency veterinary scheduling is a different problem entirely. ER schedules have to account for required rest between shifts, licensure and role eligibility, distribution of nights and weekends over time, on-call tiers, and coverage across multiple locations — all at the same time. Generic tools were not designed for this level of constraint, which is why most ER teams end up spending hours manually patching schedules after the fact.

Seqori is built specifically for this environment. Rather than filling shifts one at a time, it constructs schedules using look-ahead logic that treats rest, coverage, and compliance as hard requirements from the start — not corrections to make afterward.

Can Seqori handle multiple clinics and floating staff?
+

Yes — multi-clinic operations are a core part of how Seqori is designed, not a feature added later. Seqori gives schedulers a single operational view across all locations, including visibility into floating staff, role eligibility by site, on-call coverage, and assignment history. When staff float between clinics, Seqori tracks their cumulative burden across all locations, so distribution is measured at the network level rather than clinic by clinic.

Does Seqori replace our PIMS?
+

No. Seqori is a workforce scheduling platform, not a practice management system. It sits alongside your PIMS rather than replacing it. Your PIMS handles patient records, appointments, billing, and clinical workflows. Seqori handles staff scheduling — who works when, under what constraints, across which locations. Seqori is built with an API-based architecture that supports integration with existing operational systems, allowing incremental adoption clinic by clinic.

How does Seqori help with fairness?
+

Fairness in emergency veterinary scheduling is more complicated than most software acknowledges. Every doctor has different personal constraints that change from one scheduling period to the next. Seqori does not promise to make every schedule feel fair to every person — no honest system can. What it does is track the data that makes fairness visible over time: total shifts per period, weekend exposure, night burden, and distribution patterns. That gives management something concrete to work with before patterns become a burnout or retention problem.

What does implementation look like?
+

Seqori is designed for incremental adoption. A typical implementation starts with configuring your scheduling rules — rest requirements, role eligibility, shift patterns, time-off policies, and clinic structure. Once set, Seqori uses them to generate and validate schedules automatically. We work closely with each team during onboarding to tailor the walkthrough to your specific workflow, constraints, and locations.

What does it cost?
+

Seqori is priced based on your organization's size, number of locations, and scheduling complexity. To discuss pricing, contact us at info@seqori.io or request a demo and we will cover it as part of that conversation.
